ALINE MARTIN O’BRIEN IS A FRENCH LAWYER. SHE REPRESENTS INDIVIDUALS AND BUSINESS ENTITIES WITH FRENCH AND EUROPEAN LEGAL ISSUES IN EUROPE AND THE FRENCH CARIBBEAN, AND COORDINATES THE RESOLUTION OF THEIR LEGAL ISSUES IN THE UNITED STATES.
Aline Martin-O’Brien is a member of the Paris Bar, and is certified by The Florida Bar as a Foreign Legal Consultant. In her role as a French lawyer, Aline represents individuals and business entities in commercial litigation and transactions in the European Union and the French Caribbean. She also serves as an intermediary for clients that have legal issues in the United States by coordinating the resolution of their American legal issues with Wites & Kapetan and other US law firms. Aline’s clients in such cases are located throughout the world.
Aline is a graduate of the University of Paris I – Sorbonne and Paris Law school. Since 2005, Aline has been practicing law in Paris, where she focused on commercial litigation and transactions, and environmental law. Aline has also taught French constitutional and civil law at Paris 10-Nanterre University from 2010 to 2013.
Ms. Martin-O’Brien is the Fort Lauderdale, Broward and South Palm Beach County delegate for the Union des Français de l’Etranger (UFE). UFE is a French government-recognized organization with 170 branches in 100 countries. One of the UFE’s objectives is to create and maintain a direct contact between French nationals abroad and France, and to defend the interests of any French national living outside of France. As an UFE delegate, Ms. Martin-O’Brien is available to all French expatriates for practical guidance or assistance with a wide range of matters.
