MEET BRIAN WISNIEWSKI
Brian joined Wites & Kapetan, P.A., to fight the insurance companies on behalf of property owners. Brian is passionate about standing up for property owners against large insurance companies that do not want to pay what is due.
Growing up in Buffalo, New York, Brian was raised in a blue collar household where he learned the meaning of hard work and the value of a dollar. Brian took those lessons and applied them to his dream of pursuing justice and fighting for what’s right.
Brian put himself through the University at Buffalo School of Law, where he began training to be a trial lawyer. He took every available opportunity to learn the skills necessary to effectively present a case to a jury. He competed on the School’s trial teams, he coached younger students in trial advocacy, and he was President of the School’s Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Board.
After graduating, Brian was admitted to practice law in New York State. In his first year as an attorney, Brian argued a case before the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department. He successfully argued the appeal and won a victory for his clients.
In 2012, Brian moved to South Florida and took a job with a large defense firm. His practice areas included personal injury matters involving car accidents, slip and fall accidents, and products liability cases.
He also began representing insurance companies in lawsuits brought by homeowners. The claims involved fire damage, water damage, leaking roofs, broken pipes, and theft. Cases where people’s homes were damaged and they needed help to get their homes back to normal. Brian saw how the insurance companies treated their clients during these claims and thought it was unfair. He decided to fight back!
Brian is admitted to practice in New York and Florida.
